Islamabad: In Pakistan’s Sindh province, a man allegedly buried his 15-day-old innocent daughter alive. During interrogation with the police, the accused has said that he did not have money for the girl’s treatment, so he took this step out of helplessness. According to the report of Pakistan’s news portal ARY News, this incident took place in Tharushah, Sindh. Police have identified the person who did the heinous act of burying the 15-day-old daughter alive as Tayyab. He has also confessed his crime. Police have said that further action will be taken after the accused’s confession. The girl’s body will be excavated by digging the grave. Further investigation will be done by conducting a postmortem and forensic examination of the body.
Police officials said that Tayyab has confessed to doing this heinous act citing financial constraints. Tayyab said that he was unable to get his newborn daughter treated. He tried to arrange money but could not succeed. In such a situation, Tayyab buried the newborn in the ground by placing it in a sack. After registering a case against Tayyab, the police have sent him to jail.
Husband and wife beat up 13 year old girl in Lahore
In another incident, a case of assault on a 13-year-old girl has come to light in Lahore, Pakistan. In the incident that took place in Defence B area of Lahore, a husband and wife allegedly severely abused a 13-year-old domestic maid. This included stripping her clothes and physical torture. After receiving the complaint, the police have taken the accused Hasam into custody. His wife is absconding.
According to the FIR, the victim, Tahreem, was subjected to constant physical abuse on suspicion of theft, including being stripped naked. Her mother said in the FIR that the beating resulted in fractures in her daughter’s hand and nose.
