(Khursheed Rahmani) Pakistan Maritime Security Agency rescued the crew of the sinking Indian ship in the sea.
The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency successfully conducted a search and rescue operation to rescue nine crew members of the Indian cargo dhow Tajdare Haram, an Indian ship that was about 120 nautical miles south of Karachi.
According to the spokesperson, PMSA received information about water entering the vessel, due to which the crew members abandoned the vessel and took refuge in life rafts. But the PMSA immediately launched a coordinated rescue operation.
A PMSA aircraft was dispatched to the crash site which successfully located the survivors and dispatched nearby commercial vessels and PMSA vessels to the crash site and later to nearby Indian waters for recovery. Also facilitated the Indian Coast Guard ship operating in

This is the second successful PMSA operation in the last three weeks. Also on 4 December, PMSA rescued 12 Indian crew members from MSV Piran-e-Pir in a similar SAR mission.
The spokesperson added that PMSA remains steadfast in its commitment to ensure maritime safety and uphold international obligations under the 1993 Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea. Such operations demonstrate PMSA’s commitment to saving lives at sea and promoting regional maritime cooperation, regardless of nationality.
