This well has revealed substantial reserves of hydrocarbons. POL is planning to speed up the production process with this new discovery. The goal is to connect it to the operational network in a few weeks. POL explores and develops new energy resources within Pakistan. With this new discovery, it is expected that Pakistan’s dependence on imported oil and gas will be reduced. This discovery promises to contribute to meeting Pakistan’s energy needs. Gas has already been received
In December last year, oil and gas reserves were discovered in Pakistan. Pakistan’s government company Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) had informed about the discovery of gas and condensate in Sindh. The well was dug to a depth of 2081 meters. At the same time, protests against inflation have been seen continuously in Pakistan. Earlier this month, hundreds of people marched with placards in the central commercial district of Islamabad. During this, slogans related to taxing the rich and reducing taxes on salaried people were raised.
