His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, met with the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammed Shahbaz Sharif, as part of a special visit by His Highness to pakistan.
His Highness and the Pakistani Prime Minister exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the approaching new year, wishing the two countries continued progress and prosperity, and that security and stability prevail throughout the world.
The meeting touched on relations of cooperation and joint work between the UAE and Pakistan, especially in the economic, trade and development fields, and other aspects that serve their mutual interests and the development priorities of the two countries.
The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, and exchanged views on them.
for his part, during the meeting, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed his thanks and appreciation for the interest given by His Highness the President of the State to strengthening Emirati-Pakistani relations in various fields, noting the importance of the official visit that His Highness recently made to Pakistan.He also appreciated the continuous support that the UAE provides to his country, especially in the development fields.
