The idols of Sri Mari Mata Mandir in Korangi area next to Karachi, Pakistan were smashed by mysterious persons on Wednesday (yesterday). The temple is located in the “J” area within the boundaries of the Korangi Police Station. The incident has caused fear among the Hindu community living in Karachi.
Residents in the area told the media, “Six to eight mysterious people entered the area in motor vehicles and attacked the temple. We do not know who attacked them or why. A complaint has been lodged with the police in this regard. Hindu temples in Pakistan have been under constant attack recently. ”
The incident caused a stir in the area and police were deployed there. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
It is noteworthy that according to official estimates, there are 75 lakh Hindus living in Pakistan.
