Sydney: Andrew McDonald is the coach of Australia. Andrew McDonald was the interim coach after Langer stepped down. He has been named the full – time captain of the Pakistan-Australia team.

McDonald’s has been Australia’s assistant coach since 2019. Langer resigned in February to become interim coach. Under him, Australia won the three – Test series 1-0 in Pakistan. But the ODI series was lost 1-2. And won a Twenty20 match played.
Cricket Australia have signed Andrew McDonald’s on a four – year contract as head coach. Langer’s resignation comes after winning the Twenty20 World Cup and the Ashes. Langer resigned after players, including Pat Cummins, did not publicly support him.
