Islamabad: A Pakistani pilot has refused to take off a plane again after an emergency landing. The Pakistani pilot refused to fly the plane because his duty time was over. Pakistan International Airlines flight PK 9754 from Riyadh to Islamabad made an emergency landing at Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia due to inclement weather.

But after the weather improved, the pilot refused to fly the plane. Passengers protested, but the pilot refused. The passengers then continued to protest without getting off the plane. Eventually, officials from Pakistan International Airlines intervened and transferred the passengers to a hotel.

The airline claims that the pilot’s rest is essential and that there is nothing wrong with piloting. The flight will arrive at Islamabad airport tomorrow night and by then all the facilities required for passengers have been arranged, Pakistan International Airlines said.
