Pakistan’s eleven announced against Bangladesh, no Sarfraz

The first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh will start in Rawalpindi from Wednesday (August 21). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the XI of this Test on Monday. However, experienced wicketkeeper batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed was not kept in the eleven. Mohammad Rizwan came in his place.

Saim Ayyub will open the innings with Abdullah Shafiq. Babar Azam will bat at number four.

There are rumours, the Rawalpindi pitch will be pace bowling friendly. That is why Pakistan will enter the field with four pacers. Shaheen Afridi will lead their pace attack. He will be accompanied by Nasim Shah, Muhammad Ali and Khurram Shahzad.

That is why no specialist spinner has been kept in the team. Vice-captain Soud Shakeel and Salman Ali Agha will turn their hand if needed. Pakistan plan to win both Tests by playing aggressively.
