Palayamgottai V.U.C. A football match at the stadium is scheduled for Sunday (Oct. 9).
In this regard, a press release issued by Tirunelveli Municipal Corporation Administration: One of the important places of Tirunelveli City, Palayankottai V.U.C. The ground has been renovated under the Bolivuru City Project. The stadium was inaugurated by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin on the 8th of last month. The ‘Elevation Men’s Super Fast Football Tournament’ will start at 7 am on Sunday (Oct 9) at this stadium.
Tirunelveli District Collector Ve Vishnu is going to start the competition. Balayankota Legislative Assembly Member M. Abdulwahab, Mayor B. M. Saravanan, Corporation Commissioner V. Sivakrishnamurthy, Deputy Mayor K. R. Raju are leading. 16 teams are going to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams once the competition is over. Arrangements have been made by College Education Directorate Superintendent Ve. Hari, Tenkasi District Football Club Deputy Secretary O. Dilip Kumar. The press release stated that the public should watch the football match in the renovated stadium and cheer the players.
