Chennai: AIADMK co-coordinator Palanisamy has apologized to the ‘former’ minister for this.
Recently, a public meeting of the AIADMK was held at Vanakaram, Chennai. In this, it was planned to give the post of General Secretary to Palanisamy. Following the lawsuit filed by Panneerselvam’s supporters, the Secretary-General was unable to issue a statement. Palanisamy was depressed due to this. Palanisamy got up to speak to welcome the resolution regarding the selection of their chairman. Then, as the Central District Secretary of Tiruvallur, Palanisamy, former minister Benjamin and his supporters tried to wear Governor Panneer’s rose garland.
Thus the fierce Palanisamy, on stage, rebuked the ‘former’ minister; Chased from there. Disgruntled Benjamin and his supporters left.
