The ADMK is gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with Palaniswami leading the charge as General Secretary for the first time. Together with election advisor Sunil, he is working on a strategy that will showcase the party’s control and influence through winning significant constituencies.

The ADMK is aiming to continue its alliance with the same parties as in the previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, and Palaniswami has been in talks with them. Despite ongoing conflict with state BJP leaders, Palaniswami has confirmed the alliance with the BJP due to their smooth relationship.

Former ADMK ministers have been tasked with finalizing the alliance’s lineup, and with a clear decision, the party has started moving forward. The BJP, the largest party in the alliance after the ADMK, is targeting over 15 seats, but Palaniswami is confident that more than half of the seats will favor the ADMK.

The ADMK plans to contest in 23 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, with the remaining 17 constituencies going to the alliance parties. Dhuduvar, representing the ADMK, has had initial talks with the BJP in Delhi to convince them to agree to single-digit seats.
