The Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Mohamed Shtayé, asked the Norwegian authorities this Thursday to put pressure in international forums to achieve a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip, as well as the end of the attacks by Israeli forces and settlers on the population of the West Bank.

And he stressed the need to work on a political solution to end the conflict through a “comprehensive and fair solution to the Palestinian issue, based on international legitimacy and United Nations resolutions.”
