It raises many questions the cold blooded murder of the 54 year old Panagiotis Stathis today in the morning at Neo Psychic, right under his desk.
Panagiotis Stathis, a surveyor by profession, held several jobs in Mykonos, made a very good name but did not appear to be involved in questionable activities and had no criminal record.
He has done surveying for major projects on the island and has been active there since 2000. He was married with two children, a girl who will take the Panhellenic exams next year and a boy who is a student studying surveying in Athens. He went to Mykonos only for work. He and his partner shared the work in the Psychiko office. Panagiotis Stathis did the outdoor survey and Thomas did the office work.

His partner Thomas Kechrologos, was also a surveyor who worked with Panagiotis Stathis for many years after establishing a company called SKS SURVEY OE.
According to information, he was also involved in the spatial planning of Mykonos in 2005 and was the best man of the most powerful contractor on the island.
He is said to have bought land in Ios, as well as Mykonos, and built villas in collaboration with other contractors. He undertook the major projects of businessman Yiannis Papalekas as well as other well-known businessmen.
