by time news

The Carolina Panthers are wasting no time in their search for a new head coach. The team has submitted a list of requests for interviews with nine coaching candidates on Monday.

Among the sought-after coaches are Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, and Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan. The list also includes Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald, and Dolphins offensive coordinator Frank Smith, among others.

The Panthers are looking to fill the void left by former head coach Matt Rhule, who was recently fired after just two seasons with the team.

“We will update this tracker as candidates are confirmed,” the team said in a statement. “No in-person interviews can be conducted until Jan. 22, but Zoom interviews can happen before then.”

It’s clear that the Panthers are quickly moving forward in their search for a new head coach, and fans will be eagerly awaiting updates on the potential candidates as the team aims to make a significant hire for the future of the franchise.
