After the four goals (0-4) in the first match, PAOK scored five more (5-0) against Panserraikos in the second leg and with a total score of 9-0 qualified for the semi-finals of the Cup where Panathinaikos awaited them.
Many changes from Razvan Lucescu, but no problem for the Two-Headed who scattered the “lions” once again.
With the completion of 20 minutes, Tzimas opened the scoring with a projection from Sastre’s cross and six minutes later Zivkovic made it 2-0 for PAOK with a nice shot. From an assist by Rafa Soares in the 82′, Andre Ricardo made it 3-0 by scoring the first goal in the shirt of Dicefalos and in the 85′, Thomas made it 4-0 with a long shot.
The dance of goals was closed by Constantelias in stoppage time with a nice move and finish for 5-0. PAOK is now preparing for a derby since, just like last year, this year will also find Panathinaikos in the knockout stages. The winner will face the counterpart of Aris – Panaitolikos in the final.
