The couple got married in 2019, after 11 years of relationship, at the Montignano Castle in Massa Martana (in the province of Perugia). Filippucci, by profession entrepreneur, met his current wife in 2008 in a club in Rome. Talking about him in an old interview given to the magazine Today, Demetra Hampton had declared: «For me it is as if I had never been married before. We have always lived with the idea that sooner or later we will get married, also because everyone asked us to. Paolo protects me, makes me feel loved and safe.”
Furthermore, speaking about their first meeting, the actress revealed: «He waited for me outside a restaurant for two and a half hours, he looked like a stalker, and asked for my number. Even if it was romantic, at the time I didn’t want to give it to him, I didn’t know who he was.”
