Kochi: Pappan starring Suresh Gopi in the lead role is a much awaited movie by the Malayalees. Now the new poster of the movie has been released wishing the audience a happy Eid. Pappan is expected to make a comeback with Suresh Gopi’s Aduyugran. The film will be directed by superhit director Joshi. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.
The trailer of the movie had garnered a lot of audience attention. Pappan also has the distinction of being the big budget film that Joshi and Suresh Gopi have teamed up for years. Pappan is Suresh Gopi’s 252nd film. The film also stars Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh in the lead role. Pappan is the first film in which the two act together. Fans have been waiting for Pappan’s news since the day the film was announced.

Joshi returns with a police story after a long hiatus and Suresh Gopi’s police role is another highlight of the film. The film was shot mainly in Pala, Thodupuzha and Erattupetta. The film is being produced by David Kachappilly and Rafi Mathira under the banner of David Kachappilly Productions and Iftar Media.
Apart from Suresh Gopi and Gokul Suresh, the film also stars Sunny Wayne, Neeta Pillai, Nyla Usha, Asha Sarath, Kaniha, Vijayaraghavan, Shammi Thilakan, Chanthunath, Tini Tom and Sreejith Ravi in the lead roles. The film is co-produced by Sujith J Nair and Shaji. The film is composed by Jacques Bijoy.
