Para Badminton Championship – Tamil Nadu player Manisha Ramadoss won gold

The Para Badminton Championship series for the disabled was held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.

In the women’s singles final match, Japan’s Mamiko Toyota clashed with Tiruvallur district player Manisha Ramadoss. In this, Manisha won the gold medal by defeating the Japanese player 21-15, 21-15.

Similarly, Ruthik Raghupathi from Erode district won 2 bronze medals in mixed doubles and doubles.

And Nithyasree from Hosur won bronze in all 3 categories – singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
