Singing this hymn once again will be a good way to ride our “nostalJO”. If the song is a sign of all the Olympics, both in the stadiums and during the ceremonies, it was presented for the first time in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) during the torch renewal, on June 8. The philharmonic orchestra of the city then sing this melody with epic accents at the Palais du Pharo.

What is expected is the full album

The hit “Parade” will be presented in two parts, the 42-year-old producer told Agence France-Presse. 11-minutes will work in many “emotional registers”, as well as “great”, “power”, “joy”, “sports fever”. One of the 5 minutes and 40 seconds will be “condensed” of all this.

“I want to give it to everyone so that we can dance it more easily,” explained the man who studied with the French Touch. “Parade” itself is a tribute to this movement with its electro sounds and characteristic loops.

“Synchronization”, “Sportography”… all the compositions written by Victor Le Masne for the festivals will be released as part of the “complete album” at a later date. Regarding the compositions written for other artists, such as Aya Nakamura, Angèle, and Céline Dion, the musical director of Paris 2024 said that he was not “sure that everything can come out, because it is more complicated”, while admitting , although everything, “work[r] above”.

The next title should be “night call” by the trio Kavinsky, Angèle and Phoenix, a reinterpretation of the original soundtrack of the feature film. Drive (2011). The article, which has already been recorded, was to be released this Friday, September 13, but, according to The Parisianrights holders have not yet managed to agree on its exploitation.

“Parade” will be the second Olympic song to be released on streaming platforms. The title “Mea culpa (ah ça ira)” performed by the metal band Gojira and lyrical singer Marina Viotti has been available for streaming since August 30.
