Control what children are doing on the screen of their smartphone, but without the fuss. This is the difficult mission the government has been tackling for several weeks. To achieve this, a decree published in the coming days will impose in devices (smartphones and tablets) sold commercially in France, the establishment of a parental control system “easy to install and use”. A law, proposed in March 2022 by MP Bruno Studer (LREM), had launched the project around which child protection associations, mobile operators, manufacturers of mobile devices and public authorities debated this Friday.
