jpnn.com – DEPOK – Depok Metro Police arrested a suspect in the toddler abuse case who is also the owner of the Wensen School daycare, Depok, Meita Irianty.
Meita is also a parenting influencer.
From JPNN’s monitoring at the Depok Metro Police, Meita was seen wearing an orange prison uniform, green pants and a patterned headscarf.
The suspect felt nauseous several times because she was said to be pregnant.
Meita was accompanied by the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Depok Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
The suspect was arrested on Wednesday (31/7) evening, at his residence in the Cimanggis area.
“Based on sufficient, valid information, based on sufficient evidence, last night at 22.00 WIB, we have arrested the person concerned,” said Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Arya Perdana.
Arya said that the suspect was indeed the owner of the daycare or child care center.
Senior Commissioner Arya said that the suspect’s motive for committing the assault was due to a mistake.
