Tijuana BC.- Parents reported the alleged sexual abuse of minors “old in daycare”The Little Bees” or also known “Life Health and Love”, located in the city of Tijuana.
Currently there are two complaints that have been filed with the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), one of these was presented on Tuesday, November 14 and the other on the night of Friday, November 17.
According to the communication area of the prosecutor’s office, one of the complaints was filed against a person specifically and the other against whoever is responsible; The complaints were filed by two separate groups of parents.
They begin investigation
The nursery “The Little Bees” is part of the spaces that serve the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).
Through an official position, the institute reported that it has already initiated an internal investigation to define or establish the responsibilities that exist, which is independent of that carried out by the ministerial authority for the complaints presented in recent days.
They also reported that the daycare center was suspended from its activities so that the facts reported by the parents to the police could be investigated. FGE; They affirm that the institute will collaborate with the prosecutor’s office in the investigation with the information they require.
Alleged abuses
To the parents and minors affected by the alleged abuses, the IMSS offered psychological and medical support.
They assure that the institute will not allow the commission of acts that threaten the physical and psychological integrity of minor users of child care centers.
For its part, the Baja California State Human Rights Commission (CEDH) opened an investigation file on folio 3703/23 for the case of alleged sexual abuse committed against minors in an IMSS daycare center in Tijuana.
The commission will analyze the case and supervise the actions of the competent law enforcement authorities.
