During the anti-discrimination student movement, some Awami League leaders and artists known to be close to the party were active in a WhatsApp group called ‘Alo Asbeyi’. A few screenshots of their conversation went viral on social media yesterday.

There is a storm of criticism on social media about these screenshots. Actress Jyotika Jyoti wrote in a screenshot of a conversation shared on Facebook, ‘Fire at Bangabandhu Medical College University. The fire service and the media are not allowed to enter the talented activists of Tokai Jamaat Shibir.

In response to this message, actress Aruna Biswas wrote to the agitators, ‘Hot water should be given.’ This comment of Aruna Biswas was not well received by the netizens. The actress has come under fire on social media. Actress Parimani criticized the issue.

Parimani shared the screenshot of Aruna Biswas’ message on Facebook and wrote – ‘Inhuman! Fierce! Greedy! You can never carry the identity of an artist with so much violence. Damn you.’

As her fans commented praising Parimani on this post, so did her co-stars. Actress Nishat Nawar Salwa wrote, ‘His speech was very arrogant. She thought herself a heroine.’ One named Najma writes, ‘This is why I like Parimani so much.’ Some also demanded punishment of Aruna Biswas.
