As part of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, another meeting dedicated to the victory of our athletes was held in the Azerbaijan Olympic House operating in Paris.
ฤฐdman.biz reports that our athletes Alfonso Dominguez, Giorgi Meshvildishvili, who won silver and bronze medals at the Olympic Games, as well as our rhythmic gymnastics team, which successfully performed in the final stage of the Olympics and took 5th place, were greeted with gratitude and applause.
The event participants congratulated our athletes on their victory.
The event was attended by members of the Azerbaijan Olympic team, Olympic and world champions, representatives of sports delegations from various countries, athletes representing our country at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, their coaches, representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, foreign guests, media representatives and others.
Athletes and specialists from foreign countries, as well as speakers at the event, congratulated our country on the successful performance of Azerbaijani athletes at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. The names of the flag bearers of the Azerbaijan National Olympic Team at the closing ceremony of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games were announced at the event. The honor of carrying our flag was entrusted to taekwondo athlete, Olympic silver medalist Hashim Magomedov and the most experienced member of our rhythmic gymnastics team Zeynab Hummetova.
The event continued with a variety of Azerbaijani music performed by young singer Mardan Kazimov.
