Berluti (owned by the LVMH group like Le Parisien Today in France) reveals this Thursday that it will make the outfits of French athletes for the opening ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Two events, organized for the first time of history outside the confines of a stadium, planned respectively on the Seine on July 26, 2024 and Place de la Concorde, in the heart of the capital, on August 28, 2024.

“After the announcement of our partnership with Paris 2024 last July (the LVMH group has since become a premium partner of the Olympic Games), I am proud to lift the veil on the contribution of Berluti which has the ambition, alongside houses like Louis Vuitton or Dior, to combine elegance and performance during the opening ceremonies of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games,” explains the general director of Berluti, Antoine Arnault.

Tailor-made suits for the Blues

“We want to put all the passion and expertise of the house in terms of style into it so that all members of the delegation, Paralympic and Olympic alike, feel fully ambassadors of their country and symbols of French elegance and knowledge. -make Berluti dear,” continues Antoine Arnault.

The outfits, unveiled “in the run-up to the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games”, will be tailor-made. And Berluti’s teams will therefore have to adapt to the varied measurements of French athletes, such as the 2.22 m of NBA basketball player Victor Wembanyama. As well as the late qualifications of certain members of the French delegations selected for the Olympic Games (July 26 – August 11) and the Paralympic Games (August 28 – September 8). On their feet, the Blues will wear chic sneakers.

Berluti will dress the French teams on these two occasions, but also during the medalist celebrations planned each day at the Parc des Champions, in the Trocadéro gardens next to the Eiffel Tower. The other entities of the number one luxury group must also get involved in the Games, from Moët Hennessy products in the hospitality areas to Sephora which will be a partner of the Olympic torch relay, including Dior and Louis Vuitton, whose paws will be visible during ceremonies.

Since the announcement of its Olympic partnership, LVMH has also linked up with several athletes. Starting with swimmer Léon Marchand, five-time world champion and tipped to be one of the stars of the Olympics in the pools of Paris La Défense Arena. But also the fencer Enzo Lefort, world foil champion, the gymnast Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos, team bronze medalist in October at the Worlds, and the wheelchair tennis player Pauline Déroulède.
