At the exit of the Charles-de-Gaulle – Étoile metro station, the noise of works on the road accompanies visitors who access the Champs-Élysées (Paris VIII) from the Arc de Triomphe. On the ground, brand new cobblestones replace the previous ones, damaged and crooked. Along the facades, large tarpaulins conceal the construction sites in progress.
