Raped in the middle of the street. A young woman, an Austrian national, said she was raped in a street in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, according to a police source at Le Parisien, confirming information from the Figaro.
The victim explained that she had spent the evening at the Chez Prune bar (10th arrondissement), near the Canal Saint-Martin, with a friend. According to the statements of the young woman, the facts took place around 1:40 a.m., at the corner of rue Alexandre Parodi and Faubourg Saint-Martin, about 1 km from the bar.
She then went home and showered and changed, before going to the central Xe police station around 2:50 a.m. A search in the area was launched, but according to police information, the attacker fled on a Vélib at 1:56 a.m. on the Quai de Valmy. An investigation has been opened, writes Le Figaro.
