(ANSA) – PARIS, JULY 31 – Great success this evening, in the halls and gardens of the Italian Embassy in Paris, of the event “Le Firme dello Sport”, organized by the Embassy, ICE – Agenzia (Italian Trade Agency) and Assosport (Italian Association of Sports Goods Manufacturers) are pleased to present the event “Le Firme dello Sport”. Guest of honor, the Minister of Sport, Andrea Abodi, received by the Ambassador of Italy, Emanuela D’Alessandro. During the Olympics in Paris, the event was conceived as an opportunity to enhance the excellence of the Italian sports industry, highlighting the quality, innovation and sustainability of “Made in Italy” products. Guests included representatives from the world of sport, fashion and media, for an evening dedicated to promotion and networking: Paolo Bettini, 2004 Olympic road cycling champion (Athens), Dorothea Wierer, multiple Olympic medalist in biathlon 2014 (Sochi), Giovanni Lombardi, 1992 Olympic points race champion (Barcelona). Around twenty Italian companies presented their flagship products representing the Italian sports sector, including clothing, footwear, equipment and accessories. Italian excellence will be illustrated both through innovative pieces designed for high-level sports and through products dedicated to the general public. Sports clothing and accessories were at the center of the visual performances that animated the evening. An exhibition path presented images of Italian sports history and a selection of videos that celebrate the union between tradition and innovation. (ANSA).
