Film robbery in a jewelry store in Paris: a man entered Chaumet on Tuesday afternoon, in rue François 1er, and left with a booty of two to three million euros. The robber pretended to be a customer and was shown a series of jewels claiming he wanted to buy them. At one point he pulled out an automatic pistol and pointed it at the staff, took the jewelry and threatened to detonate a bomb placed in the shop if someone called the police.

The kidnapped jewelry is located in a district with large hotels and luxury boutiques very frequented by the Scrooge of the whole world, near the Champs-Elysées, the famous avenue between the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe. Although the Maison Chaumet is known worldwide for its historic shop on Place Vendome which was robbed in 2009 for a total booty of 1.9 million euros.
