Paris Olympics: Moroccan sports delegation motivated to mark a highly distinguished participation (Chakib Benmoussa)
Paris – The Moroccan sports delegation to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is mobilized and motivated to mark a highly distinguished participation in the 2024 Olympic Games, stressed, Saturday in Paris, Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
“Morocco’s distinguished presence at these games is the result of sustained efforts over several years, deployed by the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) and all the national sports federations that supervise these athletes,” Mr. Benmoussa said in a statement to MAP. “This is an important step in the journey of our athletes who have been qualified to participate in these games,” he said, expressing the wish to see the Moroccan champions achieve the best performances during this global competition. The minister, who paid a visit to the Olympic Village this Saturday where he inquired about the conditions of installation and preparation of Moroccan athletes, affirmed that all Moroccan athletes and their supervisors are welcomed in excellent conditions, noting that they are starting these games with high morale and that they are driven by a strong will and great enthusiasm to achieve excellent results during the Olympic Games. Mr. Benmoussa welcomed, on this occasion, the excellent level of supervision and the mobilization of the CNOM which brought together all the conditions for success for the participation of the Moroccan sports delegation in these games. Morocco is preparing to experience a new sporting epic, with the participation of 60 athletes in these summer Olympics (42 men and 18 women), in 19 Olympic disciplines.
