Leaflet on the organ construction site in the Wippinger church

Dear community members, dear Wippinger, music connects people with each other! “A church without an organ is like a body without a soul,” said Albert Schweitzer. An organ is a really fascinating instrument – in the interplay of numerous techniques unsurpassed in tone color and richness with the possibility of sounding from the quietest pianissimo to the fullest fortissimo in all sound strengths.

In order for this artistic performance to be possible again in our Bartholomäuskirche, we depend on your support. The congregation bought a used organ in very good condition for €25,000.

The organ builder Willehard Schomberg, as a competent specialist, submitted an offer for the reconstruction and intonation of a further €25,000. The total expenditure for the organ project is €50,000. After deducting the contribution from the parish of St. Bartholomäus and the promised grants from the diocese of Osnabrück, a sum of €20,000 remains, which has to be raised through donations and public funds. A large sum, which we would like to cover with a wide variety of campaigns.

We are certainly dependent on your help so that our new organ can then sound again to the praise of God and to the joy of the people. We want to implement this project together with you and you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The leaflet provides information about the various options for participating in the construction of the new organ.
