Striker who threatened Daegu as promotion PO, heads to Daegu
Park Dae-hoon, who threatened Daegu FC in the relegation playoffs (PO), will now play in a Daegu uniform.
Daegu announced on the 24th, “We have recruited striker Park Dae-hoon, who played as a starting player at Chungnam Asan FC in K League 2.”
Dae-Hoon Park made his professional debut by joining Daejeon Citizen (now Daejeon Hana Citizen) in 2016 and played for Cheonan City Hall Football Team and Chungju Citizen Football Team. In 2022, he won the top scorer (20 points) in the K4 League as a member of the Chungju Citizen Soccer Team and transferred to Asan the following year. In Asan, Park Dae-hoon played in 42 K-League games over two seasons, scoring 13 points and providing 9 assists.
In particular, Park Dae-hoon left a strong impression by scoring two goals in the first leg of the promotion/relegation PO against Daegu last month, leading the team to a 4-3 victory. Daegu, which highly valued Park Dae-hoon’s decision-making ability at the time, succeeded in signing him in the winter transfer market.
Daegu said, “Dae-hoon Park has the ability to effectively break down the opponent’s defense based on his solid physique and quick feet,” and expected, “Dae-hoon Park is a versatile striker who can play all positions before attacking.”
Park Dae-hoon said, “It’s the first K-League 1 team feeling in my life. It’s a new feeling.” He added, “When I came to DGB Daegu Bank Park as an opposing team, I was overwhelmed by the passionate cheers and overwhelming atmosphere. But now he is looking forward to cheers from fans. “I will perform well so that everyone remembers who Park Dae-hoon is,” he pledged.
