Then the traffic authorities will also impose a fine. But a parking company in England fined a person 8,700 rupees for parking his car 3 inches beyond the line.
In a parking lot in Swansea, England, 59-year-old Julian Griffiths has parked his car within the specified line. Then after 10 minutes he took the car and left. Two weeks later, the man received a notice from the parking company asking him to pay a fine of Rs 8,700 for parking the car in violation of the parking rules.
In the photo published in this regard, the car was parked within the specified line at the place where it was parked. But only the rear of the car is said to be exactly 3 inches outside the line. Aggrieved by the parking management’s notice, the man has filed an appeal against the notice. Apart from that, the person said about the incident, “This is an example of car parking companies abusing their power to generate revenue.”
