Cape Town: A huge fire broke out in the Cape Town Parliament building in South Africa. The fire was brought under control after hours of efforts by the fire brigade. The roof of the old parliament building was completely destroyed in the blaze, a security official said. The fire started from the office on the third floor of the parliament building and spread to the National Assembly Hall. No altercation was reported at the party, and no motive has been identified for the killings. Police have arrested a 51-year-old man on suspicion of theft. The tragedy was averted as the parliament building was closed due to the current holiday. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the scene.
