Parliament has approved the continued use of coal until 2040

The Brazilian parliament today (Thursday) approved the continued use of coal in the country until 2040, instead of until 2027. In the bill submitted to Fort that “there will be a process aimed at ensuring that the benefits in a green economy are widely distributed, while supporting economically losing bodies.”
