## Part-time PPPK: Not a Solution for Honorarium Issues?
The Indonesian government has been pushing for part-time government employees with work agreements (PPPK) to address the issue of honorary employees. However, this potential solution has recently been thrown into question.
An official source at JPNN revealed that the government has reservations about the part-time PPPK model due to its ambiguity. The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB) has not officially decided on its implementation.
While the possibility of a part-time PPPK system remains unconfirmed, the government has not ruled out a full-time model.
Some politicians in Senayan have also distanced themselves from the part-time PPPK proposal. Mardani Ali Sera, a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, confirmed that the issue has not been discussed with the government.
For the 2024 PPPK program, only a full-time model is being considered for the settlement of honorary workers.

The DPR RI has released a statement hinting at potential doubts about the effectiveness of part-time PPPK as a solution to the honorarium issue.
