While noted film critic Blue Shirt Maran had criticized the film as not being the world’s first non-linear single shot film, some people burnt an effigy of Blue Shirt Maran in Puducherry. As information spread on social media that Parthiban’s fans were involved in such an act, Parthiban has released a voice recording to explain it.
