On September 7, Latvia’s best MTB cyclists will gather, which will conclude the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon season. Now for the seventh season, cyclists in Ape and Vastse-Roosa (EST) start at a distance of 100 km, which tests the strength of any cyclist and presents certain challenges to anyone. During these years, 782 cyclists have tried at least 1 time and covered a distance of 100 km along the beautiful hills of Ape, Alūksne and Estonia.
As usual, the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon will have the opportunity to start in the Kärcher marathon/MTB100, the Latvian State Forests half marathon, the Mangaļi teenagers’ distance, the Skrejriteņu distance and the Cido kids children’s race. However, if you want to try your hand at MTB cycling, we invite you to take part in the Border recreational cycling race. We guarantee participants not only sporting challenges and an intense match, but also views that cannot be obtained anywhere else in Latvia. For those who will start the Ape 100 for the first time, we recommend not to wait for the finish at the start, but to divide this distance, for example, into 10 km segments. Anyone can run 10 km 10 times
We will end the season with a ball and the awarding of the overall season rating. DJ Ufo will help us party.

As usual the #Ape100 distance was never really repeated. The Latvian/Estonian border will be crossed 11 times, the highest point of the Baltic, the Great Munamegi, can be seen from three places on the route – from LeĘendu hill, from Drusku hill and from one more place.
The starting point is at the owner Meelis, who not only maintains the historical bunkers of the South Estonian forest brothers, but also produces dairy products and cheese on his farm.
Vivus MTB Marathon is the largest MTB marathon in Latvia, which has been offering participants the opportunity to be in nature for the length of a marathon or half-marathon for 18 years. This year, the Vivus.lv MTB Marathon will take place in 7 stages in 5 different Latvian cities. The biggest sporting intrigue is the “Kärcher Marathon distance”, where elite-level cyclists compete. The most represented is the “Latvijas Valsts Meži half-marathon distance”, where the rising stars of mountain biking and MTB enthusiasts realize their duels. The youngest children, according to their age group, have the opportunity to be in nature at the “Mangaļi teenage distance” or “Cido Kids children’s trip” distances. On the other hand, to try your hand at MTB and enjoy the beautiful nature of Latvia, we invite you to participate in the “Pure Recreational Ride”.
