Dubai: Mahsoos, the UAE’s leading weekly draw that has created 27 multi-millionaires in just two years, changed more lives with its 91st draw held on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
The first prize of Dh10,000,000 had no claimants this week. The second prize of AED 1,000,000 was shared among 73 lucky winners. Each of them got 13,698 dirhams. Like every week three winners won a total of AED 300,000 through the raffle draw.
Indians Khader and Ashit and Nigerian Abner won Dh100,000 each in the weekly raffle draw. Each of them is striving to improve the lives of their loved ones through smart investments.
Khader, 28, has been working in Abu Dhabi for seven years. Khader, who is also the father of a six-month-old boy, was introduced to Mahsoos by his own uncle. Then, since March 2021, Mahsoos has been participating in draws regularly. Mahsoos used to earn money to buy tickets from tips he got while working. He didn’t even know he had won until a friend called him on Saturday.
Khader, who was very happy when he got to know about winning the prize, shared the joy of that moment like this. “I was very happy. I was convinced that life had finally smiled on me. Whenever I could spare some money from my salary or tips from work, I used to buy Mahsoos tickets. I hoped that my dreams in life would come true. I can now say with certainty that it has come true”. His decision is to use the money to settle his financial obligations and make some investments in the UAE.
Indian Ashit was the second winner of the 91st Mahsoos Raffle Draw. The 30-year-old engineer has been living in the UAE for nine years. He came to know about Mahsoos through a colleague and has been participating in the lottery since April 2021.
“UAE has already given me a lot. I plan to use the money now to tap into some of the investment opportunities in this country,” said Ashit.
Abner, a 32-year-old Nigerian, is another winner. He started participating in the draw just three months ago. He used to watch the Mahsoos draw live every week due to his love for the show and was surprised to see his name written on the screen among the winners this time.
Abner, who plans to donate a portion of the prize money to an orphanage in his native Nigeria, says – “This unexpected gift will bring a positive change in my life and the lives of many others. Mahsoos has prepared a great gift for me. I want to share this blessing with others.”
In Mahsoos, which means ‘luck’ in Arabic, all those who participated in the draw in the month of August have a chance to be the winner once again and win one kilogram of gold as a prize through the Golden Summer draw. This additional draw will be held in conjunction with the next weekly draw scheduled for September 3, 2022.
Participation in Mahzooz can be done by registering at www.mahzooz.ae and purchasing bottled water for AED 35. With every purchase of bottled water, customers stand a chance to participate in a grand draw with first prize of AED 10,000,000, second prize of AED 1,000,000 and third prize of AED 350. The same tickets are also automatically entered into the weekly raffle draw which awards three lucky winners AED 100,000 each.
