On the occasion of Sunday’s game with OFI in Ioannina and the return of the crowd to the stadium after 90 days, PAE is asking for the support of the fans, but also underlines the rules they must follow.

It is time to return home. On Sunday Zosimados Stadium opens its doors to welcome our fans. After almost 90 days we will have the pleasure of being in the stands again next to our favorite team.
Our home – which had been closed without our responsibility – opens again at the most critical moment. PAS Ioannina is fighting its own fight and should not find itself alone in empty stands again. But now it is our responsibility to protect the team.
Now, there is a new very strict legal framework for immediate punishments and closure of the stadium for even the slightest thing. One mistake can deprive thousands of people of the right to see their favorite team in person. With the new measures, every sports fan must have a personal ticket to enter the stadium. In case of violation, a fine of 500 euros will be imposed by the Police and the violator will be removed from the stadium.
Based on the new measures, even children of all ages can enter the stadium only with a registered ticket. We also emphasize that the authorities will carry out identity checks. This means that those who come to our stadium must have an identity card or passport or any other form of identification with them.
In the event that a sports fan is found with a ticket in another name, both the holder and the beneficiary will be fined ten times the value of the respective ticket, while at the same time there will be a penalty of exclusion from the stadiums for both for six months, while the PAE will be punished by closing the door where the violation occurred. The new law obliges everyone to check and any refusal excludes entry to the stadium.

For this reason, it should be known that any throwing of flares, firecrackers, smoke generators, bottles, and any other object on the playing field is strictly prohibited. In the event that there is even one incident, the penalty will be severe and immediate and our punishment will be one game behind closed doors which will even be applied to the very next game.
