Olympiacos got the victory against PAS Ioannina, prevailed 3-1 of Epirotes for the third series of three points in the Stoiximan Super League. Doi (57′) and Navarro (67′) provided the solutions for the red and whites, with Conte reducing in the 76th minute with a penalty and Jovetic “cleaning up” in the 90th + 3rd minute.
Olympiacos celebrated its third consecutive victory in the Stoiximan Super League. The red and whites found the solutions in the second half and prevailed 3-1 against PAS Ioannina for the 20th game of the championship.
Doi broke PAS’s Gordian bond with a shot from outside the area in the 57th minute, while Fran Navarro in the 65th minute gave Olympiakos a two-goal lead.
Epirus reduced the score in the 76th minute with Conte’s penalty kick, after an excellent effort by Tutos. Jovetic, however, “locked” the three points for the red and whites at 90+3′.
In the Stoiximan Super League standings, Olympiacos reached 41 points and is in 4th place, a few days before the derby with Panathinaikos in Leoforos (4/2, 9:00 p.m.). PAS Ioannina remained at 12 points and in 13th place.
The match
Olympiacos entered stronger and only in the 2nd minute became threatening with a shot by Masoura that went wide. The red and whites had the initiative, with debutant Andre Horta having an important role in moving the ball around the axis.
After the 10th minute, the Epiroites tried to get higher on the pitch and look threatening. Although he tried to step into the area of Olympiakos, he could not have any final. So, the red and whites quickly took control. In the 19th minute, they had a great chance for the goal.
Fortounis committed a foul, filling the area. Masouras went to the back of Bakadimas, put his right foot, but the ball went over the goal of PAS. In the 30th minute, Olympiacos came close to 1-0 again. Ese stole the ball, fed Masoura on the right, who saw the movement of Fortounis, who shot from outside the box but missed.
PAS Ioannina’s first final actually happened in the 39th minute, with Soria shooting from outside the area and Paschalakis driving away for a corner. The last chance before the end of the first half belonged to Olympiakos again, with Doi getting a header but the ball going wide of Athanasiou’s right post.

In the 61st minute, the red and whites found the net with Masoura, but the goal did not count due to Martins being offside at the beginning of the phase. Four minutes later, Olympiacos showed its teeth again with a shot by Martins, with Athanasios blocking.
Finally, Olympiacos made it 2-0 in the 65th minute. Ciquinho countered, the ball went to Masoura, who fed Navarro on the left of the area, who executed and scored. The assistant initially raised his flag, but after a VAR review, the goal was upheld.
PAS Ioannina managed to get back into the game. In 74′ Tutu took the ball behind the midfield, sprinted, covered several meters without an opponent, stepped into the area and won a penalty from Retso, as shown by the referee. Conte took over and made it 2-1.
After the goal of Epirotes, the game “lit up” anew. PAS tried to make claims in the area of Olympiakos, which for its part attempted a counterattack. In 87′ he had a chance with Podense, while in 89′ Navarro stole from Bakadema, shot from outside the area, but the ball did not hit him, as it stopped on the post.
Piraeus “locked” the three points at 90+3′. Fortounis with a nice ball found Masoura, who from the right turned to Jovetić who also scored with the help of the crossbar. The red and whites were nervous, but they got their third win in a row in the Stoiximan Super League.
