The fans of ‘Pasapalabra’ lived a sad afternoon yesterday. It is never nice to say goodbye to a contestant but it is worse to fire him without having been defeated. Encarni, the new participant who was establishing herself in the program, has been forced to leave overnight.
It was Roberto Leal who announced the news at the beginning of the program. “Encarni will not be able to continue playing with us.” The presenter, at first, did not want to reveal the reasons for the abandonment of the contestant. He simply said that it was “for personal reasons”, but then he qualified the first explanation and added the words “important” and “family members”.
Since Encarni could be going through some difficult times, Roberto sent her “a kiss from the whole team” and left the door open for the contest: “We hope to get her back in the future.” Encarni ends his stage in ‘Pasapalabra’ with 27 donuts and 16,800 accumulated euros.
The program is looking for the ‘boom’ lost since Rafa Castaño won the coveted jackpot of more than two million euros. As is logical, the current contestants have not yet sufficiently penetrated the faithful viewers of the program.
For this reason, the director of the space, Miguel Aparicio, was asked a few days ago.
