Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has decided to condemn the assassination attempt on US presidential candidate Donald Trump with significant delay.

Day.Az reports this with reference to Armenian media.

“We strongly condemn the attack on the 45th President of the United States and presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Such acts of violence are unacceptable in a democratic society, as they undermine the fundamental principles of democracy and the rule of law that we deeply value.

“I wish Donald Trump a speedy recovery,” Pashinyan said 12 hours after the armed attack. Apparently, he slept on Sunday.

Recall that the assassination attempt on the former president became known on the evening of July 13. The shooting began at a rally when Trump started talking about his political opponent, Democratic candidate Joe Biden. The businessman interrupted his speech and grabbed his ear, after which he lay down on the floor and was covered by Secret Service agents, then urgently evacuated.

Participants in a rally by former US President Donald Trump complained about the indifference of the security service. Security agents rushed to the stage to the wounded politician after four claps, but did not pay attention to a bleeding spectator, one of the witnesses to the assassination attempt noted.
