PASOK’s 50th Anniversary: Nikos Androulakis Calls for Renewal and Trust Amidst Challenges

by time news

The message for PASOK, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the party’s foundation, was sent from Xanthi by the party president, Nikos Androulakis.

Nikos Androulakis, the current president and again a candidate, asked to be trusted once more, hinting at those who questioned him.

“I ask you to give me the opportunity to continue my efforts. The things I described were not achieved in five or ten years, but in just two years. My term hasn’t even ended, and this whole story started, which hurts the faction. The faction is not me; it’s all of you. Our collective effort disproved New Democracy and SYRIZA, who anticipated that PASOK had completed its cycle. PASOK is not only still here but will celebrate its 50 years this Tuesday united, strengthened, and with the prospect of being the party that, with its reliability, new ethos, and modern proposals, will pave the way for New Democracy in the next national elections,” stated Nikos Androulakis.

“Let the very talkative Mr. Georgiadis wonder why the ICU in Xanthi has not been operational for 4 years, why there are only two permanent anesthesiologists, and then explain to the Greek people whether they should expect a National Health System according to European standards from the state and government or from privates,” said Nikos Androulakis, giving a new response to the Minister of Health, A. Georgiadis.
