In Karnataka, cow slaughter law is in force. Incidents of illegal transportation of cows to slaughterhouses are on the rise. To curb this, the law prohibiting cow slaughter has been tightened.
If cattle are to be transported in vehicles for agricultural or dairy purposes. Get pass permit through online. New pass consists of permit procedure, transport certificate, owner’s documents, veterinary first aid kit.
For areas beyond 15 km, no pass permit is required to transport cattle. Pay the fee online and get the permit.
25 rupees for carrying cattle, if it is a light vehicle; If it is a heavy vehicle, you will have to pay a toll of 50 rupees.
Cows should not be transported for slaughter. Only cows and buffaloes affected by severe disease above 13 years of age are allowed to be slaughtered.
