Passers-by save pensioners from Schlossteich | Free press

by time news

On Monday evening around 10.30 p.m., the fire brigade had to move to the castle pond to rescue people. An elderly man had slipped into the water there and could not come ashore without help. When the Chemnitz professional fire brigade arrived, two passers-by had already pulled the man out of the water. The fire brigade took over the first aid with a rescue blanket and bandaged the abrasions on his knees. The ambulance took the man to a hospital. (fp)
