jpnn.com – Indonesian men’s doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana successfully secured tickets to the semifinals of the 2024 Korea Open.
This result was obtained after Leo/Bagas defeated the host’s representatives Choi Sol Gyu/Heo Kwang Hee with a score of 21-17, 21-17 in the quarter-final match, Friday (30/8/2024).
This victory also marked Leo/Bagas’ success in advancing to the semifinals in two consecutive tournaments.
Previously, the new pair made it to the top four of the 2024 Japan Open.
“Thank God we were able to win without any injuries. We are certainly happy to be able to advance to the semifinals again.”
“However, don’t be too satisfied because there is still tomorrow and the next match,” said Bagas.
For the semifinal match, Leo/Bagas are looking forward to a match against another Indonesian men’s doubles pair, namely Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin.
