Mumbai: Virat Kohli’s disappointing performance in the IPL (IPL 2022) continues. Kohli was dismissed off the first ball of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) today. This is Kohli’s third exit of the season. It was a miserable sight to see the star return to the dressing room after leaving. It was the outside style that made cricket fans even more upset.

RCB won the match by 67 runs. RCB won the toss and elected to bat. Mumbai scored 192 for three in the allotted overs. In reply, Hyderabad were all out in 19.2 overs. Vanindu Hazaranga, who took five wickets, led the team to victory. Rahul Tripathi (58 off 37 balls) was the only batsman in the Hyderabad line-up to shine.
Earlier, FC du Plessis (70 not out) and Rajat Patidar (48) gave RCB a decent score in their innings. Dinesh Karthik, who scored 30 not out off eight balls, was also instrumental. Virat Kohli returned with the first ball he faced. Jagadeesha Sujith took two wickets. This is RCB’s second consecutive victory. The RCB hit back with the same coin for Hyderabad as they chased down the winning target.

Apart from Hazaranga, Jose Hazlewood took two wickets. Glenn Maxwell and Herschelle Patel have one wicket each. With the win, RCB activated their playoff chances. RCB are fourth with 14 points from 12 matches. Hyderabad are sixth with just 10 points from 11 matches.
