Kochi : Vinayan’s film Pathimath Century has entered the top five trending charts on Amazon Prime Video. Last day, the film Vinayan, who played the historical character Velayudha Panicker through actor Siju Wilson, started showing on Prime Video. 19th Century is at number 5 in the trending Indian list of Prime Video. On the other hand, in the UAE, the film topped the trending charts. Apart from Malayalam, the film has been released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada languages.
Director Vinayan informed that the film, which was released as Thiruvona, was screened in theaters for about six weeks. Vinayan’s Nineteenth Century was also the highest grossing Malayalam film released by Thiruvona. South Indian star Kayadu Lohar is the heroine of the film.

The film tells the story of the Velayudha Chekavas who fought against the caste system that prevailed in the past. Siju’s performance in the film was highly praised. Kayadu played the role of Nangeli. The performance of both of them in the film was highly appreciated. Also, Siju’s mokovar and dedication towards reaching the screen as Velayudha Panikakar was impressive.
Apart from the duo, Chemban Vinod, Anoop Menon, Sudhir Karamana, Suresh Krishna, Indrans, Raghavan, Alencier, Sreejith Ravi, Ashwin, Johnny Anthony, Jaffer Idukki, Senthil Krishna, Manikuttan, Vishnu Vinay, Sphatikam George, Sunil Sukada, Cherthala Jayan, Krishna, Biju Pappan, Baiju Ezhupunna, Gokulan, VK Baiju, Adinath Sasi, Manuraj, Raj Jose, Poojappura Radhakrishnan, Salim Bawa, Jayakumar, Naseer Sankranti, Koodikal Jayachandran, Padmakumar, Munshi Ranjith, Harish Pengan, Unni Nair, Bittu Thomas, Madhu Punnapra , Meena, Renu Sundar, Surabhi Santhosh and Sharanya Anand along with fifteen foreign actors also acted in the film.
Music by M. Jayachandran with lyrics by Rafeeq Ahmed. The background music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Cinematography is done by Shajikumar. The story is based on true events.
