TRIBUNE – For patients who must begin dialysis, it is important to know all the possible therapeutic choices.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a serious and disabling pathology, the only curative treatment of which is transplantation. Patients with CKD experience a reduction in the functioning of their kidneys, which eventually no longer filter blood through the body. In France, more than 90.000 patients suffer from so-called “end-stage” chronic renal failure (CKD).
